What’s your first memory associated with agnès b.? I must have been about ten years old. A friend of my mother’s was wearing a pair of shoes with a stripy red and blue sole, designed by Agnès for Pierre d’Alby.

Your favourite item from the brand? The “Garçon” shirt in white poplin.

How would you describe the Paris spirit? Grandeur and decadence.
