BÄST's graffiti and wheat paste posters have been part of urban landscapes for over 20 years. Michael Polimeni (1970-2021) was born in New York City, and his art was present on the streets throughout the city, although he remained elusive throughout his lifetime. His unique style of drawings, stencils, cartoon characters, graffiti tags, collages, paint, and screen printed posters held in place with flour dough, his work was discovered by the public all over the cities he would visit. The artist turned his attention to large painted works on canvas and participated in solo and group exhibitions across the globe before his untimely death.
