Lisa Roze's "Carnet de curiosités & phrases curieuses"
A look back at the opening reception at agnès b. JOUR FEMME.
On May 26, agnès b. JOUR FEMME hosted the opening of Lisa Roze's exhibition Carnet de curiosités & phrases curieuses, celebrating the release of her eponymous new book. The evening brought together the artist, Amélie Nothomb, and Matthieu Chedid, who contributed texts to the project.
Born during the lockdown period, this deeply personal work gradually evolved into a contemporary cabinet of curiosities, bringing together photographs, collages, objects, and fragments of memory within a poetic and intimate universe.
Published alongside the exhibition, the book combines this visual material with the curious phrases written by Amélie Nothomb and Matthieu Chedid, creating a unique dialogue between images and words.
The exhibition is on view at agnès b. JOUR FEMME, 6 rue du Jour, Paris 1st arrondissement, until June 30, 2026.
