The Nita silk scarf has a contrasting stripe around its edges, and a tone-on-tone embroidery.
This scarf has been hand-woven in Cambodia on wooden looms by Soieries du Mékong, which has been training Cambodian women in the art of traditional weaving since its creation twenty years ago, in the art of traditional weaving. It thus provides dignified work and social coverage to some sixty families in a village in northern Cambodia.
