What are you wearing?
I’m wearing my brown leather agnès b. cardigan, one of the pieces I treasure most in my wardrobe. The leather is unbelievably soft, and most of all, it was a gift from my father. I probably wear it at least once a week! I believe in wearing the pieces you love often, even if they’re delicate. I don’t like letting my clothes sit in the closet unused. It makes me sad! I paired it with a super basic white T-shirt and a pair of vintage jeans I’ve had for years, which show traces of my habits: paint stains, a frayed hem from constantly stepping on them (I have this problem where I love wearing oversized jeans but refuse to wear a belt, so they drag!). I love them, and I love the wash. My shoes are also little treasures. I first spotted them in a photo in a book, searched the internet endlessly to find them, but they were too expensive. Then one morning, I came across them at a flea market, in my size and for an affordable price. Finally, my vintage beige leather bag: I love how soft and slouchy it has become over time; I like wearing it like a bundle.

Why did you choose this (these) piece(s) from the brand?
The agnès b. cardigan has been a staple in my wardrobe since I was little. My parents are true fans of agnès b. and the values behind the brand. So I grew up wearing this cardigan, which has evolved with me. Today I wear it in brown leather. I find it incredibly versatile. Most of the time I wear it with a really distressed pair of jeans, but I’ve also styled it with much dressier pieces, and it looks stunning. It’s also gorgeous worn directly on the skin, it becomes sexy. And even with a nice pair of grey sweatpants… I love that too!

How did you put this outfit together?
This look is really my everyday uniform. I love pairing a great jacket and a beautiful pair of shoes with more “basic” vintage pieces. I’m tall, so I love pants that fall all the way down over my shoes, it’s so hard to find ones that fit like that! And it’s the perfect outfit to take me from work straight into the evening.

What’s your relationship with clothing?
It’s my main form of expression, right after speech! To me, clothes say so much about a person. When I wear something, it’s never random. It changes daily depending on my mood and who I want to “be” that day. I’ve been dressing myself since I was three years old; clothing has always been a part of my life and I’ve never stopped having fun with it.

What’s your relationship with agnès b.?
A family bond! My parents have worn almost exclusively agnès b. for as long as I can remember. The brand has always been present in my family, we often gift each other beautiful pieces from her. So agnès b. truly holds a special place in my heart.
