This poster illustrates Agnès's love of cinema in general and the French New Wave in particular.

"I have a long history with cinema. It was Christian Bourgois, my first husband and a great film buff, who educated me! The seventh art is opera and literature combined. I appreciate the silence between scenes, the music over the voices, and, as in Godard's works, the diversity of styles. "
Martine Robert, “Agnès b. Galeriste avec beaucoup de style !” (Agnès b. Gallery owner with a lot of style!), L'œil, October 2006

One day, without any ID, she was refused entry to the theater to see À bout de souffle (Breathless), which was prohibited to those under 18. She was only able to enter by showing a photograph of her twins to the sympathetic cashier. Since then, Jean-Luc Godard has held a special place in her heart as a discerning film lover.

"As a child, I lived next to a movie theater. I would sit on the sidewalk behind the projection room and listen to the soundtracks of the films. I made up my own images... In 1970, I started filming with a Super 8 camera. Ten years ago, I wrote a screenplay in one go, which I revisited three years ago and will be filmed next March. It's a road movie set in the Landes region, amid wild landscapes."
