On the occasion of the partnership with the label Forager records and the release on August 15 of the compilation "Small Talk" agnès b radio invites the label and will broadcast throughout the month of August every Friday the label's mixtapes recorded from rare vinyl.

Agnès b has been a long-standing partner of the Midi Festival for many years. This year, to celebrate the 20th anniversary, agnès b radio and the Midi Festival are organizing a special program starting this Friday and lasting all week, featuring a mixtape, playlist, and a rebroadcast of the concert and interview with Temples.

Irish musician Maria Somerville will share her second album and debut project on 4AD, Luster. Poni Hoax performed the long version of their song "Budapest" at the agnès b fashion show in Tokyo in 2005. Poni Hoax performed at agnès b.’s invitation for the Warm Up Series at PS1 in New York in 2007. The band also performed for agnès b.’s 30th birthday at the Olympia, among other events.

After making their mark with their acclaimed 2024 album, When All You Want To Do Is Be The Fire Part of Fire, French experimental pop duo UTO return with More Heat to the Fire Part of Fire. Wewantsounds continues its extensive Meiko Kaji reissue program - in partnership with Teichiku Records and Kaji herself - with the release of Yadokari, her third album from 1973. This marks the first time the album has been reissued on vinyl, featuring its original artwork and newly remastered audio. Renowned for her iconic 1970s films (Lady Snowblood, the Stray Cat Rock series) and admired by Quentin Tarantino, Meiko Kaji also released a string of outstanding albums on Teichiku, blending Japanese pop with cinematic grooves. Yadokari, is reissued here with its original deluxe gatefold sleeve andOBI plus a two-page insert featuring new liner notes by Hashim Kotaro Bharoocha. As a special bonus, this edition includes a 7" EP single featuring Shura No Hana, famously featured on the Kill Bill soundtrack.

Chris Imler is a drummer, singer, songwriter, and composer. He first gained attention in the late 1990s as the drummer for the cult Berlin band Golden Showers. Since then, he has collaborated extensively with artists and groups such as Peaches, Puppetmastaz, Soffy O, Jens Friebe, and Oum Shatt. With Patric Catani, he also founded the project Driver & Driver.

KOMPROMAT is the alliance of Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior (Sexy Sushi, Mansfield.TYA). Their first album Traum und Existenz, released in 2019 on Clivage Music (Vitalic's label), laid the foundations for a dark and hard-hitting universe. In January 2025, they returned with PLДYING / PRДYING on Warriorecords, a label founded by Rebeka Warrior. This new album explores themes such as prayer (pagan or not), funeral rites, passages between different worlds, but also the pleasures of the flesh, dance, and ecstasy - like a divine invocation through music.

Area Silenzio is eat-girls' debut record and it is both haunted and haunting. For the past four years, the French trio have been crafting their songs into little self-contained worlds with the patience of entomologists, taking them out all over the country and Europe to confront them with the wilderness of a live audience. The ten resulting tracks are a collection of electronic madrigals, groove driven songs played on a mischievous multi-speed Victrola, ranging from languid dub drips to full-on drum machine cavalcades.

Wewantsounds is delighted to announce the release of one of Japan's most coveted albums of the 70s, "Mangekyou" by singer-songwriter Yoshiko Sai. Produced in 1975 by Master musician Yuji Ohno, the album features Yoshiko Sai's superbly crafted songs and crystal clear voice over Ohno's lush, funky sound and breezy arrangements. A strong buzz has been growing around the album over the years and original copies now change hands for large sums of money. This is the first time "Mangekyou" is available outside of Japan, featuring remastered audio, original artwork and a 4 page insert including new liner notes by Paul Bowler.

Originally from La Hague near Cherbourg and based in Rennes for 7 years, Héron Cendré shapes a poetic world where modular synth sounds, field recordings gleaned from schools and other minimalist lo-fi oddities blend together. The album 3-4 is the perfect illustration of this. It is "a feat of purity, minimal, chaotic, sacred, cosmic, tender, all at once and more, between film music and spatial signal, a new language all by itself" (Gonzaï). Among his influences, we can cite Terry Riley, Philippe Glass, Hiroshi Yoshimura as well as François de Roubaix, Jean-Jacques Perrey or Pierre Bastien.

Jose Guerrero aka Telomante lives in Valencia and runs the Mascarpone Discos label. A prolific producer, he multiplies projects such as Sentuhlà on Abstrakce Records or Rastrejo on his own label. Codantera is a contemplative stroll through soundscapes that leave plenty of room for improvisation where harmonic fields and abrupt experimentations intersect on the same plane. The warmth of the sound and the strength that emanates from it make this album a gem of minimalist electronic music.

Naomie Klaus is a young artist from Marseille based in Brussels. The origins of On Grace & Dignity lie in the winter of 2020, when Benjamin Woods (mastermind at work behind the alias the GOLDEN DREGS) lost his job during confinement and returned to live with his parents.

With "Leave Me Alone", Detlef Weinrich presents his fifth album under the moniker Tolouse Low Trax. Weinrich, who has meanwhile turned his back on Düsseldorf and lives in Paris, has long since ceased to be an insider tip and is a guest in renowned clubs and festivals all over Europe.
