Mohair is distinguished by its natural shine and remarkable thermal insulation properties. Its hollow structure gives it unique diathermic properties: it traps air in cold weather to act as insulation, and allows air to circulate in warm weather. Its permeability also allows it to absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture, which it then slowly releases. This characteristic enhances its thermal properties, as the retained water warms to body temperature.
When blended with wool, which has a scaly structure, mohair optimizes and enhances the insulating properties of the blend. In addition, imperceptible polyamide filaments are incorporated to bind the long, airy mohair fibers, ensuring the durability and shape retention of your garment. Viscose combines the advantages of natural and synthetic fibers, giving it a supple drape that adapts to the body, absorbs moisture, and dries quickly.
