The next exhibition of the gallery is dedicated to a new generation of Brazilian artists.
Afirmaçao gathers 11 artists, most displayed in France for the first time, of whom diverse practices (painting, sculpture, drawing, displays, photos, videos) question current Brazilian identity.
By exploring their family trees, peripheral identities, beliefs or still the critic of colonisation, these artists make the world political not to tear it down but to build it up.
With Anderson Borja, Vivian Caccuri, Gal Cipreste & Marina Pinheiro, Lu Ferreira, Sabrina Fidalgo, Manoela Medeiros, Matheus Mestico, Thiago Moon, Matheus Ribs and Gabriel Sacchetto. Most of their works have been designed specifically for this exhibit, imagined by William Massey.
Their work will be shown at the Galerie du Jour this Thursday, from 6pm to 9pm.
