This Coulos t-shirt is made of soft, supple cotton jersey and is printed with lyrics from the song “Le chanteur” (The Singer) as sung by Daniel Balavoine.

Daniel Balavoine was a French author, composer, interpreter and musician who was born in 1952 and died in 1986. Thanks to his high pitch-level and androgynous voice combined with his wide vocal range, he achieved success from 1978. He was particularly inspired by British pop music and subsequently became one of the great names of French pop-rock. Daniel Balavoine was also known for his humanitarian work and the political positions he adopted in the media. In 1985-1986, following the great Ethiopian famines, he committed himself to the cause of Africa through the Paris-Dakar Rally. It was during the course of an operation designed to transport water pumps for rice cultivation that he died prematurely in a helicopter accident while flying over the Malian desert.
