Noon, Les beaux jours

Exhibition at the agnès b. Montpellier boutique, 1 October - 28 November

A former student of the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier, Noon lives and works between the Languedoc and the island of Oléron. A visual artist, she refuses to be confined to a single medium and loves to experiment: painting, paper cut-outs, digital illustration, ceramics, embroidery…

The geometric forms in her paintings and paper cut-outs plunge us into a dreamlike world inspired by nature and Art Nouveau. Beyond form, colour asserts itself as a fundamental force, carrying light and rhythm.

She moves back and forth between the street and the studio: for her, urban space is another place of expression and an immense graphic playground.

For her exhibition Les beaux jours, presented at the agnès b. boutique in Montpellier, Noon evokes the good times: those we have lived, those we are living, and those we hope for. Through her luminous paintings, she conveys a simple idea: good days always come back.

Over the course of her career, Noon has collaborated with organisations and charities including Keep A Breast, Sea Shepherd, the RATP, Deezer, Volvo, LineUp and Vinci Immobilier. Her work reflects a desire to forge links between art and society.
