Yak wool is a rare fiber whose qualities are comparable to those of cashmere.
Its softness and warmth are its main characteristics. It has a fluffy appearance similar to that of cashmere. The scaly structure of yak hair and the length of the fibers give it a silky smooth feel. Its fleece offers a beautiful range of colors, from black to brown, sometimes with subtle shades of gray. White hair is the most sought after due to its rarity.
Extremely warm, yak wool has remarkable insulating and thermoregulatory properties thanks to the structure of its fibers. You will be convinced by its comfort. What's more, this material becomes softer with each wash. As with all precious wools, fabric softeners should not be used.
Finally, it is important to note that yaks graze without pulling up the roots, which promotes constant renewal of pastures.
