This season, agnès b. joins the series to share her deep, lifelong love for music—a passion sparked in childhood. As a young girl, she attended the Concerts Colonne at Théâtre du Châtelet, once hiding among the choir just to hear Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, in which her father was singing. She was deeply moved by Mozart’s Requiem and soon embraced rock and other musical genres—yet music, in all its forms, has always remained central to her life.
Throughout her career, she has dressed legendary musicians such as David Bowie and Alain Bashung, and today continues to support artists like Matthieu Chedid and Oxmo Puccino. A committed patron of independent labels and festivals, agnès b. brings to the stage not just memories, but a vision of music as a living, breathing part of cultural life.
