Abode Of Snow x agnès b.: a meeting at the summit

agnès b. presents a new collaboration with Abode Of Snow, a Japanese label inspired by Himalayan outdoor garments, most notably the traditional Tibetan Chuba, a long, warm robe belted at the waist and originally designed for the extreme cold of Tibet. Its wrapped construction allows the upper part to function as a large pocket when needed. Variations of this Tibetan garment can also be found in the traditional dress of many Asian cultures. Abode Of Snow has drawn on this heritage to create quilted pieces, which agnès b. now revisits.

The Mila style comes in two versions: one with a hood and one sleeveless. Both feature, as their lining, a photograph by Agnès titled “Snowy memory from her winter garden”, echoing her long tradition of printed garments. The Chuba coat is distinguished by a specially developed electric-blue lining created for this edition.

All pieces were made in Nepal using recycled polyester and recycled down. Abode Of Snow is committed to preserving Himalayan craftsmanship and is a partner of the Greendown Project Japan.

The capsule collection is available in stores and on our website.
