agnès b. offers fashion that is deliberately timeless.
In fact, Agnès refuses to be called a “fashion designer,” since the clothes she creates are specifically designed to never go out of style.
She prefers to say simply that she makes clothes to make people feel good.
In doing so, she takes the opposite stance to the “disposable” fashion trend, which encourages overconsumption of clothing.
The clothes designed by Agnès ten or twenty years ago remain fashionable today.
She has created a whole series of designs that have become “iconic”: the snap-button cardigan, created in 1979, the striped T-shirt, the white shirt, work clothes... can be worn for years.
“I always work with very structured, simple, timeless shapes, which I adapt to contemporary colours and fabrics.”

Since its inception, agnès b. has favoured small-scale production, choosing quality over quantity.
We limit our stock to around a hundred items. This approach ensures that each garment receives special care, strengthens our collaboration with our partners, and reduces our unsold stock. And if there is any: the items have always been donated, nothing is thrown away at agnès b.!
