Caroline - "Caroline 2" on Rough Trade Records

Three years on from the release of debut album ‘caroline’, London-based eight-piece caroline announce new album ‘caroline 2’, to be released via Rough Trade Records.

The group spent 18 months working across various writing sessions in the UK, with recording primarily taking place at Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate. The album was produced by the band’s own Jasper Llewellyn, Casper Hughes and Mike O’Malley, engineered by Syd Kemp, mixed by Jason Agel and mastered by Heba Kadry in NYC. Following the debut of their new show at Rewire Festival in The Hague, the group announce further tour dates today, including in Japan, across Europe in September and at Rough Trade East, in addition to the UK tour already announced.

Terry Riley « In C live at Philharmonie de Paris » on Tigersushi records

On June 13th 2024, Joakim, along with six guest musicians performed Terry Riley’s renowned piece “In C” at a sold-out Philharmonie de Paris. This is the recording of their live performance. Maria Somerville « Luster » on 4AD records

Irish musician Maria Somerville will share her second album and debut project on 4AD, Luster. Ahead of the release, Somerville has now shared one final single off the record, “Spring” — a whirring and atmospheric dreamgaze track, full yet fleeting with distorted acoustic strumming, ghostly siren calls, commanding head-bobbing percussion, and a surprising autotuned outro.

Charlotte Leclerc « Moiré » on Delodio

Stranded Horse (aka Yann Tambour)'s second album Humbling Tides was released by Talitres in early 2011. It featured ethereal melodies and a wandering spirit. Years before, Tambour had made a dramatic artistic shift away from the darker sound of his electronic/orchestral project Encre with Churning Strides (2007). This distinctive and bright work blended Anglo-Saxon folk with French chanson and Mande music, where classical guitar and kora arpeggios intertwined to create a timeless musical landscape.
