Aldous Harding, "Train on the Island" on 4AD

New Zealand folk musician and composer Aldous Harding releases her fifth album, Train on the Island, via 4AD.
The 10-song album was co-produced with her longtime collaborator John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dry Cleaning) at Rockfield Studios in Wales, where the duo previously recorded Party (2017), Designer (2019), and Warm Chris (2022). Train on the Island features musical contributions from Joe Harvey-Whyte on pedal steel, Mali Llywelyn on harp, Thomas Poli on synthesizers, Sebastian Rochford (Polar Bear) on drums, and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) on bass, backing vocals, guitar, and organ.
Aldous Harding will be in concert in France on June 11 in Rouen (Rush Festival), June 12 in Paris (Salle Pleyel), July 2 in Nîmes (Paloma) and August 15 in Saint-Malo (La Route du Rock).
