"Memórias em re/construção" at Galerie du Jour

Galerie du Jour presents the works of Rose Afefé and Asmahen Jaloul.
Following on from the exhibition Afirmação (2023), La Fab. continues its commitment to the Brazilian art scene. The program, titled La Fab. Studios, was developed in collaboration with Solar dos Abacaxis in Rio and in partnership with the Talents! program by the Fiminco Foundation.
Asmahen Jaloul and Rose Afefé present a two-voiced exhibition centered around memory, identity, and forgotten narratives. Through video, installations, and painting, they explore the idea of reconstruction from the margins. Drawing on personal and collective histories rooted in Brazil, they question borders, transmission, and the homes we invent or reclaim. A thoughtful and committed dialogue, born between Paris and Rio.
Meet the artists in video: Rose Afefé and Asmahen Jaloul. The exhibition is in its final days, don’t miss it!
