less plastic, more ocean
concrete actions
agnès b. is committed to protecting the environment, and this commitment is reflected in our packaging choices.
We have eliminated plastic from 100% of our customer packaging.
Online, cardboard boxes are recycled and recyclable. In stores, bags are made from 100% certified paper.
We encourage our customers to bring their own shopping bags to reduce waste.
For storage and production, we apply the “3 Rs”:
Reduce : Limitation to what is strictly necessary (e.g., elimination of hangers and double bags).
Reuse :
• Reuse of packaging between stores and by our teams. In 2024, thanks to the collective efforts of our teams, 8,000 garment bags were reused, saving more than 200 kg of plastic.
• A second life for our black hangers, which are sent to the IMAJ association, based in the North of Paris and working on social inclusion, integration through economic activity and with a specialized prevention hub.
Recycle : Non-reusable packaging is sent for recycling.
Thanks to these actions, no virgin plastic is introduced into our production and internal transport processes.
