Since 1975, agnès b. has been helping to preserve the French textile industry's outstanding expertise. In 2024, around 30% of our clothing is still produced in France.
The rest of our production is carried out in Europe (more than 80% of the value in total) or at selected partners known for their specific expertise (cashmere in Mongolia, alpaca in Peru, scarves in India, etc.).
agnès b. joins ICS
We consider our suppliers to be partners, some of whom have been with us since the brand was created in 1975.
Since 2021, agnès b. has been a member of the ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability) to help improve working conditions for employees and protect the environment.
100% of our manufacturers and direct suppliers sign our social and environmental ethics charter. In 2024, 87% of our purchases from manufacturers complied with our ethical criteria, validated by independent audits according to the standards we recognize (ICS, SMETA, BSCI, etc.). The points checked include: non-discrimination, remuneration, and environmental impact (use of water and energy …).
We actively work with our partners to ensure full compliance.

90% of the amount purchased from our manufacturers will be covered by an ICS audit or a standard compliant with company policy by 2027.
