agnès b. is delighted to celebrate the opening of Gilbert & George: 21st Century Pictures, now showing at London’s Hayward Gallery from 7th October 2025 to 11th January 2026.
A collaboration rooted in trust and vision
Long-time friends and partners, agnès b. and the celebrated artists Gilbert & George share a creative rapport. Over the years, they have co-created exclusive t-shirts and collaborated on the art publication le point d’ironie, offering a way for art to join everyday life.
A sweeping retrospective of modern voices
This major exhibition brings together over 60 floor-to-ceiling installations, spotlighting work from the past 25 years. Bold, large-scale images formed with Gilbert & George’s signature style explore themes across their series such as NEW HORNY PICTURES (2001), THE LONDON PICTURES (2011), THE BEARD PICTURES (2016), and THE CORPSING PICTURES (2022).
Through vivid visuals and single-word titles, the works interrogate societal norms and taboos—hope, fear, sex, religion, corruption, death—and reflect the duo’s longstanding motto: “Art for All.”

Limited edition release coincides with exhibition
To mark the opening, agnès b. has launched a curated drop of t-shirts and a bandanna featuring Gilbert & George’s artwork. These exclusive pieces are available now online, at the Hayward Gallery shop, and in our London boutiques.
