Manon

They wear agnès b., they talk about it.

Manon, styliste freelance, on rue Grancière, Paris.

What are you wearing?
I’m wearing a Saint-Malo blue cardigan that was gifted to me—a piece I wear very often, almost all the time. I paired it with a kilt I found in a thrift store a few years ago. I added a blue cotton bucket hat and my agnès b. silver pins. The woven bag was sourced in a souk in Marrakech this summer—I haven’t let it go since. And a pair of small heels I found at a flea market, whose slightly aristocratic feel—with the buckle at the front—actually reminds me a lot of Agnès.

How did you put this outfit together?
I like wearing strong pieces that almost make the whole outfit on their own, like the kilt. Small details like the silver pins are important too. I always think carefully about color combinations—the navy blue of the cardigan with the brown tones of the kilt and the bag. I enjoy taking an outfit all the way, telling myself a story through what I wear. This time, I wanted a slightly retro silhouette, very thrifted, almost like a Parisian you might come across at a flea market.

What is your relationship with agnès b.?
I worked for the brand for a year, so naturally I have a very strong connection to it. It’s a very human, very family-oriented house, and Agnès is exactly as you imagine her: free-spirited, rock, entirely herself. It deeply influenced the way I see fashion and made me want to move toward styling. I still wear the brand for what it represents, not just for the clothes.

Manon “likes to wear strong pieces that almost make the whole outfit on their own,” and that allow her “to tell a story through what I wear.” “I wears the brand for what it stands for, not just for the clothes,” she adds.
